The company behind Skullaroo

Skullaroo LLC is a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States. It builds Skullaroo, a live scoring app for recreational golf groups.

The problem Skullaroo solves is small and specific. A weekend golf group splits into foursomes and spreads out over a few hundred acres, and immediately loses track of the one thing everyone actually cares about: where they stand. Scores sit on paper cards in four different carts. Handicap strokes get argued over on the 18th green. The skins pot gets settled hours later, in a parking lot, from memory.

Skullaroo replaces that with a single shared leaderboard. One player in each on-course group enters scores on a phone, and everybody else — in the other groups, in the clubhouse, at home — watches the same standings, skins, and payouts update within seconds. The app does the arithmetic that causes the arguments: course and playing handicaps, strokes on each hole, net scoring, carryover skins, and stroke-play payouts.

Skullaroo does not process payments. Money owed between players is tracked as an IOU ledger the group settles among themselves, exactly as it worked before the app existed.
